Richard Bogard
Class of 1944
Richard "Dick Bogard", an infantryman in WWII, received the combat
infantryman badge and the Bronze Star. In 2010, France awarded him the
Legion of Honor medal, the highest award given to a member of the French
military or to a foreigner. Following graduation from University of
Michigan, Dick returned to Peoria and started Bogard Drug Store from
which he retired as President and CEO of the five store chain. (2011)
Marvin H. Hult
Class of 1939
Marvin H. Hult helped establish the
Marvin Hult Health Education Center. Before forming Hult and Associates
Advertising Agency and Air Vent, Inc, he managed WMBD radio and became
the area’s first FM announcer. Known for his business and charitable
contributions to Peoria, Marvin received Bradley University’s
Distinguished Alumni Award and the Robert H. Michael Lifetime
Achievement Award and was inducted into the Bradley Centurion Society.

Tom Irwin
Class of 1974
Tom Irwin was a founding member of the Steppenwolf
Theater. A television and stage actor, Tom appeared in numerous
television, movie, and Broadway and London stage roles:
The Grapes of Wrath, My So-Called Life, ER, Saving Grace,
Up for Grabs, No Higher Love, and Grey’s Anatomy. (2011)
Anthony Miller
Class of 1979
Anthony “Tony” Miller served as Deputy
Secretary of the U.S. Department of Education and the Chief Operating
Officer of the Department under President Obama. He advised school
districts in operational, management, and program functions. He had
extensive operating experience in investment, growth strategies,
performance improvement, and restructuring. (2011)
William Randall Reed, M.D.
Class of 1969
William Randall Reed specialized in
neonatology. He was an assistant professor in the Department of
Pediatrics at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and served as
regional trainer in the American Heart Association program for Neonatal
Resuscitation. With his neonatal research, he had numerous publications
and presentations. (2011)
JOHN RICE
Class of 1981
John Rice is a director and story artist in the animation business in
Los Angeles. His projects include The Simpsons (series and movie),
The Rugrats, King of the Hill, Gnomeo and Juliet, and
Beavis and Butt-head (series and movie). John earned the title of
Supervising Director on both King of the Hill and Beavis and
Butt-head, and directed the animation for The Simpsons Ride at
Universal Studios. John's motto - when you lose your mind, you
come to your senses...(2011)
